The Little Matchgirl

I just watched Disney's "Little Matchgirl", the little short film about the girl trying to sell candles only to use them for warmth. You know "Grave of the Fireflies", which is considered one of the most heartbreaking movies ever made, and talks about the horrific effects Japan in WWII? Not that I've seen it, but that's what I've heard. Well, from the looks of it, "Little Matchgirl" is like the hors d'oeuvre EQUIVALENT of that film. It's really beautifully animated, the music is strong, and everything that made the original fairy tale so chillingly powerful is kept here and intensified a notch. Is it bad to say I felt compassionately concerned for the girl in question and yet didn't cry over this? Not even once??
